Course Description
The course is based on Class 9 SCIENCE NCERT Text Book . The course is divided into following chapters:
Chapter 1 – Matter in our surroundings
Study the characteristics of particles of matter and the different states of matter. Write accurately about the properties of the solid-state, liquid state and gaseous state while explaining the states of matter. For situational problems, write logical answers by referring the answers and concept notes prepared by Chemistry experts.
Chapter 2 – Is matter around us pure?
In this Chemistry chapter, understand the difference between heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures. Find answers on identifying physical change and chemical change in our surroundings. Also, understand the concept of pure substances and mixtures.
Chapter 3 – Atoms and Molecules
Learn the applications of the law of conservation of mass, law of definite proportions and law of constant proportions. Write answers based on Dalton’s atomic theory. Additionally, you can revise concepts such as cation, anion, atomic mass unit, molecular mass, the chemical formula of compounds, etc.
Chapter 4 – Structure of the Atom
In this chapter, you can find accurate solutions for questions on canal rays. Study the structure of atoms by understanding concepts such as protons, neutrons and electrons. Also, revise Rutherford’s model of an atom, Thomson’s proposed model of an atom, etc. In this course we will study the above topics in detail and will learn and understand the concepts involved.
